There is a forum for furniture designer makers, called the DMOU (named after the website www.designermakers.org.uk), although it has recently metamophosed into the FDMA, Furniture Designer Makers Association. Recently we have been comparing blogs and I thought you might like to check them out:

As I said the blogs vary as much as the furniture style of the makers, skreeworld is Michael Wainwright by the way.
Some makers prefer not to mention other makers as they worry about loosing custom to them. My approach is that the more we can raise the awareness of all the fine makers currently working in Britain the more we all will benefit. So enjoy your reading.

Competitive blogging? my blog is not intended to be competitive in anyway. I use the name Skree for my work outside of furniture deliberately. I can't understand your objective with this
