Let's hear it for Nidderdale Motors

This winter has been hard on my old Astra estate. I have had to replace an exhaust bracket and the exhaust is again sounding a bit rough. A wind screen wiper flew off in a blizzard before christmas and on Tuesday the wipers packed up completely. Perhaps because I keep turning them on while they are frozen to the windscreen!
As I needed to get back to Huddersfield on Thursday I needed to have it fixed quickly. Having no tools available, I called in at Nidderdale Motors in Pateley Bridge. Despite obviously being busy they suggested I leave it for 30 mins and they would have a look at it. On my return they had fixed a damaged linkage for £32.
I remember having to replace amissing wing mirror in Cheltenham last year whilst down there to pick up pieces from the Celebration Of Craftsmanship and Design exhibition. I bought a new mirror from a large Vauxhall agancy and asked if they could fit it, "that will cost you £60" they said. So I went to Home Base and bought a screw driver for £5 and fitted it in 5 minutes.
Perhaps Nidderdale Motors were exhibiting the well knownYorkshire generosity or spirit! Or perhaps it's a case of small is beautiful (I hope they won't be offended by that).Either way I am indebted to them.
