Saturday Night Fever Chair
In designing this chair I wanted to explore a mixture of flowing lines and asymmetry, why should chairs be symmetrical? The result has a pleasing fluidity and is very comfortable.The shape reminds me of Travolta's iconic pose in Saturday Night Fever, hence the name.
The legs are constructed from ten tapered laminations bent on a former, no two parts are the same.
I find the contrast between the red leather and the pinky maple very pleasing
