Origami Coffee Table

In designing this piece I wanted to create the impression of the wood being folded. The legs resemble a paper fan, the top inlay continues this idea.

 

Construction is in American maple with cherry, walnut, maple and elm burr inlay.

 

Dimensions: 1100mm x 610mm x 430mm

  • The fan shaped legs give a folded impression
  • The walnut, maple, cherry and elm burr inlay continue the folded motif.
  • Contrasting Walnut beads highlight the edges of the legs
