White turning drawers
Cost: £1400
A variation on Red Drawers, being constructed in the same way. The semi circular back is laminated and veneered on a former, the drawer sides being laminated on the same former. A steel rod, fitted in brass sleeves, runs up the centre of the pearwood column on the drawer fronts, allowing the drawers to rotate freely. The veneer on the fronts is book matched to give a pleasing symmetry. The pearwood columns and edging making an attractive contrast to the lighter masur birch.
The drawers have a beautiful free running action, rotating to the lightest touch.
